ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES

All articles published in the fully open-access journal Paramount Ecological Resources are freely accessible to readers without the need for a subscription or access fees. For accepted manuscripts, we do impose an article processing charge (APC) to cover the expense of publishing. Our APC for articles right now is ₦18, 000 Nigerian Naira for Nigerian Authors and $50 USD for International Authors. We are aware that APCs can be expensive for authors, particularly those who are from impoverished nations or don't have access to research funding. As a result, we provide charge reductions and waivers on a case-by-case basis. The editorial office encourages authors who are unable to pay the full APC to get in touch and discuss their financial situation.

As part of our commitment to transparency, we will make sure that writers are aware of all fees and any available price waivers or discounts prior to publishing. Furthermore, there are no page or submission costs, and there are no extra expenses for color figures or supplemental materials. No matter their financial status, all researchers should be able to publish their work in Paramount Ecological Resources, therefore we work to keep our APCs as low as we can while still upholding the highest standards of publication quality.
